In the Summer of 2004, Mena, Arkansas had the enjoyment of having Curt Warren of Warren Wind Sports and his hang gliding tow operation in town for a week.  Many locals came out to have a ride on the hang glider or in the Ultralight Aircraft flying right out of the Mena Airport. 

What a great surprise when the Polk County Phone Directory came out with a wonderful photo of Curt and  local Resident, Phillip Hatley setting up an approach for a landing at the Mena, Airport.  That’s Phillip on the left flying the hang glider!  Curt, the instructor is on the right, keeping a watchful eye on Philips technique.  Phillip did great!

We are hoping that Curt will come back through this way again in 2005...
